Mrs McGurk has been operating a very successful book club for pupils over lunchtimes over the last few months. Each meeting, the children attend and read together some of their favourite selected books and novels, followed by discussions on characters, plot and writing style. The children are then encouraged to write short reports or create powerpoint presentations to share with each other at the club. This is a really great way to enthuse children to read more not just read better! well done to all the children and to Mrs McGurk for her dedication, innovativeness, passion and enthusiasm!
