P6 visit TITANIC BELFAST with GLENANN PS as part of our CRED project 2011-12

Pupils from Glenann PS, our sister school in the Glens of Antrim, joined us to participate in our intensive CRED funded programme this month based on the theme of Titanic.  We have worked hard at building meaningful relationships with the pupils and staff, embracing positive conversation about difference and similarity in cultures, traditions and all the aspects of identity and diversity.  This anniversary year has allowed us to benefit from a range of interactive workshops, culminating in this wonderful trip to Titanic Belfast and the latest additional Titanic Exhibition at the Ulster American Folk Park, which we are visiting next week for a residential sleepover.  We will have a movie to follow encaptulating all the fun active learning that has taken place, but in the meantime, here are just a few snaps of the day at Titanic Belfast.  You can see a short movie of our trip there on youtube by following this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exgAZmE5rgA&feature=share
