We are holding our own special Glengormley Balloon Release as the finale of our Integrated Week 2012. On Friday 9th March 2012 at 1130, we will launch 300 colourful balloons into the sky above Glengormley to mark 30 years of Integrated Education in Northern Ireland. We hope that anyone that finds one of our balloons will detach the card on it and contact our school by phone or email to let us know how far and where it has ended up. If we get a good prevailing wind (which we can in the micro-climate of the shadow of the Cavehill as anyone who lives in Glengormley knows!) who knows how far they might go and where they will end up. The children are looking forward to charting the balloon journeys. Please do come along and join us in the playground at 1130 on Friday 9th March 2012 and watch the children ably assisted by a special guest release our balloons.
