10 Children from P5-7 were invited to take part on the Belfast Episode of CBBC Live ‘N’ Deadly show as it tours the UK. It was broadcast live from Belfast Zoo between 9am and 10am on Saturday 9th October 2010.
The downside to the whole experience was that we had to be at the zoo at 0630!! So everyone had to be up very early. But we went into the zoo, had breakfast and were very quickly into a full rehearsal before the cameras rolled live. All the children got to get up close and personal to not just 2 celebrity TV presenters, but also a range of interesting and potentially dangerous animals. All the kids had a great time and came away with an experience in broadcasting that most 8-10 year olds do not get a chance to experience.
