Mr M Donaghy

Welcome to P7D’s homepage!

P7 is always an extremely busy year and we hope to pack a lot in! We have got off to a super start getting used to new routines and adapting to the new regulations but we are enjoying the opportunity to set a good example for all the younger pupils in school.

Our topics this year are the Irish Famine, World War II (focusing on its impact on Northern Ireland) and Healthy Living. We have already managed to bake our own traditional potato bread and we are examining the reproductive processes of plants as we learn a lot about the lumper potato (the type of potato grown in Ireland during the Famine)!

Amongst these topics, we hope to fit in a lot of technology, reading, work with other schools and memorable experiences!

If you wish to discuss anything regarding your child’s experiences in school, please contact the school office who will help organise a time which suits.

Thanks – M Donaghy
