My NameTags help GIPS PTA

“My Name Tags” offers a way of helping raise funds for our school PTA
If parents order name tags for uniforms through My Name Tags and input the ID 51436 when ordering, it will kill 2 birds with one stone – uniforms clearly labelled and money raised for the school.
If you are planning to get some new name tags for September, perhaps you could take a look and see if you would like to buy some of these……

GIPS staff and parents abseil the Europa Hotel for PTA fundraising for the school

Well done to all the 20 parents and staff members involved in descending the Europa Hotel on Sunday 15th May 2011 on behalf of the PTA.  Each abseiler had to raise sponsorship in order to participate and all funds raised will be added to the PTA funds for the school.  Here are a couple of pictures from the day.  There are lots more on our school gallery page at https://picasaweb.google.com/glengormley/PTAEuropaAbseil#

GIPS Roadrunners cross the line in style for Integrated Education Fund

On Bank Holiday Mayday, a team from GIPS entered and completed the RiverRock Belfast Marathon Relay in a record-breaking time of 4 hours and 32 minutes.  This easily knocked over 15 minutes off the finish time from last year’s effort.  Well done to all involved for giving up your holiday in order to support the IEF who in turn do so much for our school.  We help them to help us!
Have a wee look at this clip of Mrs A as she strides across the finish line.  No guts no glory!! 😉
