Pupils from P6 and P7 were delighted to experience a very special visitor today in the form of the world famous author Colin Bateman, known for his novels such as Divorcing Jack, Mystery Man and his hit TV series Murphy’s Law. Colin spend time discussing with children his career history and what inspired him to become a writer as well as the difficulties he endured along the way. He then read a chapter from his latest novel for children, “Reservoir Pups” which he also had copies of specially signed for the children. Colin was also kind enough to pose for the local press photographer so expect to see an article in the NT and he even signed copies of parents’ and staff adult novels of his, that were sent in for signing.
We would like to thank his for his time and effort to come and inspire some of our pupils here in P6 and P7 about success in writing.
Here are a few of our own photos from the visit.
