Press Articles this week ~ Thurs 15/12/11
From the Newtownabbey Times
Children from our school choir took part in a candlelight carol service on Friday 9th Dec 2011 at the local park as part of a community event organised by the local churches. It was a very cold night so a special thanks to Mrs Lyness and the children who came along to sing and support the event. It would have been so easy to just stay home! Big thanks!
We got the shoppers at Tesco warmed up for Christmas today by singing a selection of classic and contemporary songs for Christmas as they headed in to do their Christmas shopping. Don’t miss us again on Friday from 2pm – 2.45pm and then again at the new Tesco at Sandyknowes Shopping Centre on Tuesday 20th December 2011 from 1115am – 1145am.
CHRISTMAS DINNER 8th DECEMBER 2011

Pupils from P4 and P5 worked hard to a tight deadline to complete a collage mural as part of a local schools’ celebration of the opening of our newest Tesco store at the New Sandyknowes Shopping Centre (former Northcott site). The store will be officially open on Monday 28th November 2011 when you can call down and see the artwork for yourselves. Hopefully the children will get a visit too. The children were asked to present a theme of France and they were assisted by Mrs Arnold, who is a very talented artist.
