Today, pupils from Primary 3 went to St Mary’s on the Hill to make their first sacrament of confession / penance. The service was led by Father Damien and supported by Father John Forsythe. All the children were wonderful and the teachers did a fab job in preparing them for it. Also in support was our fantastic KS1 choir of P3 and P4 pupils who sang beautifully. Parents and family were then invited back for refreshments at the school with their children. It was a lovely event. Here are some photos of the day.

Cool FM Media Bus visits P7
Sonia Mac, Kelly and the rest of the team from CoolFM supported by The Cooperative came to visit and deliver a “Fair Trade” workshop to P7 pupils on Monday 4th March 13. The pupils all had the opportunity to write and design scripts for a radio advert which they then were allowed to record and playback as a proper advert with jingles using the CoolFM technology for on air broadcasting. Kids had a great time and learnt new skill and knowledge whilst on the bus. Big thanks to all involved in supporting our pupils.
The Photos can be found here

We are always here to listen…..
We have some beautiful new boards mounted in key areas within the school buildings to remind children that they always have someone to talk to if they have any problems – no matter how small.
These are the photos which are incorporated within the new boards. We take the pastoral care and welfare of our staff and pupils very seriously and always have an open door for those who want a chat…..
