This is the team of kids who performed in Sea Pictures last night at the Waterfront Hall. They were supported by the Ulster Orchestra and worked with about 14 other schools from both mainstream and special schools. This was a real example of Inclusion at its best! Well done kids on a performance that made us all very proud.
SEA PICTURES
Sea Pictures – Waterfront Hall, Belfast, 23 March 2010
Follow this link to see a final standing ovation in the Waterfront for the Sea Pictures Performance our some of our P5-7 pupils performed in on 23 March 2010.
Mr Arnold now has a team almost complete for the relay event in Belfast on Mayday 2010 (3rd). Each leg is approx 5-5.5miles long and he currently has 4 members of the school community agreed to taking part, once again to raise much-needed funds for the Integrated Education Fund, which in turn will contribute 1/2 of all that is made, directly back into the school.
We are fortunate enough to also have 2 members of staff who were intending to complete the whole marathon this year, who have agreed to raise further sponsorship and support the IEF and school in the very brave efforts.
We are very keen to see others take up the challenge, or if you are already running the event or the relay, would you consider running for the IEF and helping with the fund-raising effort to contribute back to the school?
Any mums, dads, brother or sisters of our pupils? Just let someone in school know if you are interested in taking part with us. The more the merrier!! The more teams we can enter, the better!!
